About the Campaign

दिल्ली को अधिक हरित, स्वच्छ एवं पर्यावरणीय रूप से सुदृढ़ बनाने के उद्देश्य से दिल्ली वन विभाग नागरिकों को निःशुल्क पौधे उपलब्ध करा रहा है। "एक पेड़ माँ के नाम" अभियान के अंतर्गत प्रत्येक नागरिक अपनी माता के सम्मान में एक या अधिक पौधे लगाकर इस जन आंदोलन का हिस्सा बन सकता है।

The Delhi Forest Department is encouraging citizens to participate in greening Delhi by collecting and planting free saplings under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. Citizens can dedicate one or more saplings to their mothers and contribute towards a greener Delhi.

मैं पूरे संकल्प के साथ यह प्रतिज्ञा करता हूँ कि 'मेगा प्लांटेशन ड्राइव' के दौरान लगाए गए पौधे की देखभाल और सुरक्षा करूँगा। मैं नियमित रूप से इसमें पानी दूँगा, इसे नुकसान से बचाऊँगा और इसके स्वस्थ विकास को सुनिश्चित करूँगा। इस पौधे को पाल-पोसकर बड़ा करने से मैं आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक हरित, स्वस्थ और टिकाऊ पर्यावरण बनाने में अपना योगदान दूँगा।
I solemnly pledge to care for and maintain the sapling planted during the Mega Plantation Drive. I will water it regularly, protect it from damage, and ensure its healthy growth.
